Seat view from section 239 at Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals

Great seats though there are few bad seats at Kauffman Stadium I've come to find, especially after the renovations. Seats are very modern and feel new which you'll understand if you've ever seen a game at Fenway Park in Boston. Leg room is aplenty, plenty of room between each seat so that you won't feel crammed in with your neighbor.
The Royals dugout will be down to your immediate left and these seats are all still on the main level so you can make out the players just fine. The Royals don't have the most All-Star driven ball club but you should still know a lot of the players without having to refer to the scoreboard in center field.

If you pay attention to the Royals schedule with any regularity, make a point to come on "Buck Nights" where hot dogs and other items are only $1. You can save even more money by bringing your own food and bottled water into the ballpark. If you're feeling extra frisky, try sneaking a beer into the ballpark. Not impossible, I've done it, you've just got to act like you have a pair.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 239, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Royals game at Kauffman Stadium.
