You'll be impressed to find out that 234 is still on the main level of seating but only further back which gave us a solid view of the field by the way-above the Royals dugout and near first base. You'll probably expect that the 200s are on the 2nd level just looking at the seating chart. Best of all, the only club seats are those behind home plate so Kauffman certainly doesn't have that corporate feel that so many ballparks have adopted these days. It's even named after it's former owner Ewing Kauffman too and doesn't dawn a name like 'Kroger Stadium' or 'Holiday Inn Ballpark'.
Our seats for the game were in row RR which was one of the last few rows in our section. We had a good bit of shade from the overhang although it was only sunny the first few innings. But the downside was having to walk down a decent flight of steps to reach the concourse. They won't present a problem though because they're not steep.
I've been to all 30 MLB ballparks. I can't say that Kauffman was the best, but it was certainly beautiful and distinctive from all of the others.
