Couldn't complain too much about my seats in 225, row J aside from the price of the tickets. There were a lot of season ticket holders and regulars in the area that love the Penguins so it was nice sitting next to some educated hockey fans. I could see everything just fine but the section definitely will leave you desiring lower level seats for your next Penguins game; that is for certain.
I'm going to be honest, I wasn't entirely impressed with the new Consol Energy Center. It lacks the identity and old time hockey feel that the Igloo possessed. As much as the city wanted to hang onto it, the Lemieux group really gave them no choice, they were ready to move the franchise to Hartford so they could become the god awful Whalers again.
