To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 104, here is a Youtube video shot from row L during a Penguins/Senators game in 2013.
Came here for a game against the Washington Capitals last year to see Sid the Kid take on Ovechkin. What an atmosphere. Be sure to check out the Kielbasa Grinder kiosks when you visit the arena.
How were the seats? They were amazing although I didn't like how many seats there were per row. Not ideal seats for those with active bladders like the fan that sat beside me in row L. The rows were lettered A thru Y. All of the rows were very spacious, however. The difference between the old Mellon Arena and Consol is day and night. Clear views, no obstructed views, everything is brand new and shiny. If you're a Penguins fan that has yet to visit the new home, you have to get here and sit in section 104 if the tickets are in your budget.
