You're in for a bad experience if you purchase 'Standing Room Only' tickets at the United Center. Not only do you have to get there as soon as the gates open to get a good spot but you need to have friends and family save you a spot when you leave to go to the concessions or restroom lines. No idea how the Blackhawks organization gets away with charging as much as they do for standing room only tickets, it's damn near highway robbery.
P.s. there really is no railing, chairs or tables to lean on. You're much better off purchasing a cheap nose bleed seat or watching from home. And if the person with you isn't a Blackhawk fanatic, they're going to get tired of standing really quick and then the complaints begin.
