Sat in row 337, row 14, seat 15. Row 14 is one of the last rows in this section so many of you may want to stray from the rows in the teens but being that high up didn't really bother me. They called this area the "Upper Touchdown Zone" and 337 will give you a much clearer view of the field than those directly behind either upright in the upper end zone. Paid $90 for two seats vs. the Broncos, so you should be able to find these seats for a little cheaper than that for most home games.
You won't get much shade from these seats; the opposite end zone gets the most shade and is the first part of the field to get shade. Getting shade doesn't sound important but the Chiefs almost always play 1pm games on Sundays.

Looking outward outside of the stadium, there is nothing but highways and concrete. Most hotels are a mile or two away and there are practically no bars or restaurants. If you want to avoid the $27 parking fee, you may want to take a cab from a hotel in the area or from downtown.
Gates BBQ and Arthur Bryant's BBQ are two of the local staples that I recommend to most visitors. You can thank me later.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 337, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.
