To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 415, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Wizards game at the Verizon Center.

Can't say enough good things about this arena. The fans are not over zealous and the upper deck is packed with true fans that know how to behave. I had heard some stories but I think most of the unruly fan behavior happens at the Capitals games.

Section 415 was good but it's not some place I would want to spend every game at. The Wizards were playing the Lakers so we had to opt for cheaper seats since the lower level tickets were outrageously priced. Normally, you can get some lower level tickets for $30 a piece which isn't bad compared to what you'll find at other NBA arenas.

I wasn't excited about shelling out $100 for two upper level seats but I had never seen Kobe Bryant play in person before. The view was very serviceable. If you watch a good deal of basketball, you can still distinguish each player from the other based on how they move with the ball. If you like the x's and o's of the game, you can see it all very well from the upper level at the Verizon Center or the 'Phone Booth' as we call it in DC.

There was plenty of railing to help us get to our seats but the stairs are tall enough to make you nervous about the climb. Be very careful walking to and from your seats when sitting in the 400s. Just a heads up.
