To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 229, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Timberwolves/Milwauk ee Bucks game at the Target Center.

Section 229 will give you a nice panoramic view of the court. If you're someone that just needs a great view of the court and doesn't have to sit down next to the floor, this section will suit you well. I didn't sit here based on preference but more so because it's what was available when the Heat were in town last season. For some games, you can sit where you want on the top level and stretch out and relax. For other games, the seats will be packed to the rafters and you'll be left feeling a little bit calostrophobic. They cram a lot of fans into each seat so you had better hope you sit next to some petite female.

There are so many restaurants and bars in the nearby area that you'll have no reason to spend money on the overpriced concessions. Delaware north presents the concessions, not sure if they're as good as Levy Food Group but I've been unimpressed in the past with their $5 hot dogs. Huberts Sports Bar on 1st Avenue always has a strong following of fans both before and after the game and their food prices are very reasonable. If you're traveling around and visiting various NBA arenas, the Target Center isn't one you should be leaving off of your list.
