You'll experience some of the narrowest and most uncomfortable rows at the staples center in section 316. I would like to think that all of the upper level seats at the Staples Center are the same; same width apart and everything. Your knees will be touching the row in front of yours; count on it. And you won't be able to tell who a single player is unless you refer to the jumbo tron in upper center.

The seating area stays a little darker than what you'll find in other NBA arenas but you can see your feet at least when exiting your row. There are only 12 rows so row 12 is almost as good as row 1 but row 12 will obviously leave you with more steps to climb up and down. And it's fairly steep. Tickets generally run $50-$80 per seat here.

To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 316, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Lakers game at the Staples Center.
