To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 140, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mariners/Tampa Bay Rays game at Safeco Field.

140 is a nice section for Mariners games - directly down the third base line right next to the dugout. If you are in the first few rows, you will be able to actually see into the dugout.
My son was able to stand at the foot of this section for autographs during batting practice with no hassle from the ushers.
This is a beautiful ballpark and makes for a great family outing.
