The bright lights above these seats are super bright and make for a good viewing experience for night games. However, the out of town scoreboard is above these seats and you can't see any part of it. Only important if you're paying attention to the Yankees score like we were (no cell phone service). Worst of all, there are actually three or four rows behind the scoreboard, creating an obstructed view of the field. I would expect stuff like that in Fenway Park, a ballpark built in 1912. But not from a ballpark built in 2009. Wilpon doesn't care though.

Are these seats worth it? I've had better but if you just want to get out of the house one night and check out the Mets without spending a lot of money, 535 is a decent spot. Far from everything but the atmosphere and smell of the hot dogs is what really makes this place exciting. If you've never been here, the Jackie Robinson Rotunda has it all. And the Shake Shack is going to be the most popular eatery at the park but get there early, the line will span an inning or two. It's that good. Bring lots of cash for the concessions, it makes things move quicker and there is zero restaurants outside of Citi Field.
