We all know the Mets have not been a winning baseball team lately - the positive is the ability to come to Citi Field and purchase tickets at a really cheap price. That's just what we did. 522: row 2, seats 11 and 12.
I could see the infield and outfield equally well from section 522 since it's down the third base side kind of in between. The closer to the infield you are, the better, that goes for any section at Citi Field. Don't let any Mets fan tell you there isn't a bad seat in the house because it isn't true. To be safe, sit in rows 5-10 in any seat on the Promenade Reserved level (the 500s) when coming to Mets games.

Seats I would not recommend: the Pepsi Porch and the Left Field Landing. Don't even waste your time sitting in those places. Do, however, make your way to center field where they have an area similar to Philly's Ashburn Alley. The Shake Shack has the best food in the ballpark aside from maybe Mcfadden's restaurant. If you want sushi, you can find it in World's Fare Market near section 104. Hopefully you don't want sushi at a ballpark, otherwise, I would say you aren't a true fan.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 522, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mets/Washington Nationals game at Citi Field.
