Had an outstanding view of the field when we sat in 511. We had row 4, seats 6 and 7.
Our rows were slender and didn't have many assigned seats. There were 10-12 seats in each row so it was very easy getting in and out to hit the concourse. There is a big food court underneath the Promenade reserved seats. Give the steak sandwich at Pat Lafrieda's a try; you won't be disappointed.

There are many features I like about Citi Field. First of all, it's a huge upgrade over the old Shea Stadium although I'm slowly beginning to miss that place. If you want to see the old Shea apple, it's outside of Citi Field in Mets Plaza. The new Apple is significantly bigger than the old apple.
I always like to enter thru the Jackie Robinson Rotunda to reach my seats. It's beautiful in there and the dedication they have to Jackie is heart warming. They also have the Mets Hall of Fame Museum just inside the rotunda and it's free to all ticket holders for that game. You can take a tour of the actual ballpark for $13 but season ticket holders get to take the tour for free.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 511, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Mets/Boston Red Sox game at Citi Field.
