Sits right in between the pitcher's mound and home plate but on the upper deck. A little high up in the skies, felt much higher than the upper deck at the Metrodome actually. There, there were only two levels of seating but the upper deck was monstrous.
Most importantly, fans seem to go to twins games to actually watch the game. There are zero kids play areas and areas for bored adults aside from the club lounges.
If you want a few restaurants to check out while in the city, 112 eatery and Saffron's are two good spots. If you want to sample the ballpark food, it doesn't get much better than a Murray's Steak Sandwich or a sausage from Kramerzuk's. Target fiels is smack dab in the middle of downtown so there are plenty of nearby hotels to walk to and from. The Hiawatha Line also stops just outside of the stadium.
