I've sat everywhere at Kauffman Stadium for Royals games in the past; the Diamond Club, the fountain seats, the Sonic seats. Our seats were only ok - but a great way to gain entry for a game and save money to spend elsewhere. All you really get is the view and it's a good one; above the Royals dugout with a great view of the pitcher's mound. If you don't know much about the team, you won't enjoy these seats. They can seem cramped depending on who is seated next to you. Not much room at the elbows, in other words.
Fans are great in this section. Very passionate and knowledgeable, even friendly to the visiting Yankees fans.

Want to know what I would think would add a nice touch to Kauffman Stadium? Powder blue seats, of course, the renovations have already taken place. I would also drop Pepsi and carry Coke products.

A few other tips when coming to Kauffman Stadium...
-Parking in the main lot is $10.
-Named after former Royals owner Ewing Kauffman.
-Team is always having promotions and free giveaways to get fans into the ballpark.
-Souvenier cups are $7.50 and come with one free refill. You may be able to find one after the game someone has left behind.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 429, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Royals/New York Yankees game at Kauffman Stadium.
