Not bad seats at all. Paid $70 for two tickets to a Royals game earlier this year while the Tigers were in town. (Huge Tigers fan). No cup holders in section 217. How could this franchise update this place with millions of dollars and not install cup holders for fans?
The seats weren't too wide across but they're only going to designate roomy padded seats for the Crown Club and Diamond Club seats behind homeplate. The Tigers dugout was down to our right and we got some great photos of the players from our seats. Feel free to walk down to the field level area for photos, the ushers are usually pretty laid back about that kind of stuff. Would recommend section 217 to any fan; 3 out of 4 stars. I'm subtracting a star because based on demand, I don't think these seats should have cost that much. But still affordable.

Kauffman Stadium measures up favorably with many of the other ballparks I've been to. I think what I hate the most about The K is that it's out in the middle of nowhere away from the downtown dining and hotels. Having a venue downtown would help this franchise immensely. Heck, having a subway to the ballpark would help this franchise. Parking was $10 and was very slow getting out since virtually everyone drives to games.
