Our seats stood directly above first base which isn't the most favorable position being up so high but I could follow the game pretty well without having to refer to the jumbo for replays too often.
Well, I guess even the fans sitting behind home plate refer to it often too.
These are the epitome of the cheap seats but it gets much worse the further you sit in the outfield.
I'm pretty picky about where I saw but the Yankees were in town the night I went so I didn't want to drop $90 on a decent seat on the bottom level. Still had a blast and always enjoy coming to Progressive Field for games. They always have great fireworks displays after games but they don't let you go down on the field to watch them like some organizations do.

The Indians now use a 'FanPass' system which is kind of like paperless ticketing. You buy from the Indians website and you aren't issued tickets, you just swipe the credit card you used upon arriving to the ballpark. Another thing I didn't know is that they actually allow re-entry into the ballpark, you have to get your hand and ticket stamped upon leaving and can re-enter later in the game. They must be budging on the zero tolerance policy for fans leaving the ballpark, finally.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 541, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Indians game at Progressive Field.
