Great vantage point here compared to what you will find elsewhere. The upper level at U.S. Cellular is massive with a lot of stairs to climb and they're very steep but plenty of railing along the way. Here's a little fact for those of you that were fortunate enough to have seen a game at the Old Comiskey Park; the last row at Old Comiskey is closer to the field than the first row at U.S. Cellular Field. Yeah, I was shocked when I first heard that too.

There are two ways to reach the top level; escalator and ramps. The ramps are long and never ending. There are only two escalators outside of Gates 3 and 5 and they only go up. So you will be taking the ramps back down to street level no matter what. Plus, ushers will ask for your tickets numerous times to make sure you can't sneak down to the bottom level for better seats.

None of this sounds like a good experience, I know. But the top deck tickets are anywhere from $5-$15 a piece and is a great way to see a Major League Baseball game without breaking the bank.
I think an outfield upper deck would be nice but the scoreboard area spans the entire length of the outfield.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 535, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a White Sox game at U.S. Cellular Field on Opening Day.
