Had seats in row 8 for the Astros game on July 1st last season. Row 8 was one of the last several rows until you reach the top of the ballpark. But with only two levels, they're much better and closer than 3rd or 4th levels seats that I've seen in other MLB ballparks.
My wife and I could see the field well, neither of the poles were blocking our view.

What I found silly was the tiny 1980s tvs that they placed up near the roofing area. Who can watch those and be able to tell what is going on? No one! They need to upgrade and get some flat screens up there or did the tvs come with the ballpark in 1912 too?
Hopefully the Ricketts continue to upgrade the place. They've already added the big screen in center field and the Budweiser Patio area in the bleachers which I really liked.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 514, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Cubs/Pittsburgh Pirates game at Wrigley Field.
