To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 227, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Wild playoff game.

Wild games are quiet the experience and is definitely something that almost all of the Twin Cities residents love keeping up with and watching. It's hard to get Wild tickets at a discounted rate, you've got to shell out some money but I finally did last season for a Blue Jackets game which is perhaps the reason that the tickets were more affordable than they typically are. Only paid $90 for two seat in row 6.

Although I don't have any other seats to compare section 227 to, I know that the view was outstanding. I could see every inch of the ice. The benches are to the right of the ice and the penalty box is to the left. I had a tough time telling who was who but I didn't care.

Now that Parise and Ryan Suter have been signed, I expect ticket prices to go thru the roof as expectations are running high for 2012-2013. Beautiful arena, best in the area and it's so much nicer than the old Met Center.
