To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 102, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Avalanche/Nashville Predators game at the Pepsi Center.

Great seats behind the team benches at the center of the ice. The best seats in the house. There are 22 rows. The rows are numbered 1 thru 22. Some fans prefer to be right next to the ice but I think in general most fans prefer to be higher up in the lower level. Row 15 would be perfect (I sat in row 6).
For lower level seating at an NHL game, tickets are very affordable to see the Avalanche. If you are on a budget, you can find tickets in the upper level for next to nothing.
