To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 103, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a high school hockey game at the United Center. Different team but the exact same view you'll get for a Blackhawks game.

My friend bought me tickets for Section 103, Row 8. I'm spoiled now by the great view we had of the ice. I got to see 2 fights up close and some other awesome hockey action; plenty of check.

Of course, I had a bullseye on me with my teal jersey amongst the sea of red and got heckled, but nothing too crazy. Despite the Sharks losing, we still had fun and made friends with the drunken couple next to us. I was extremely happy with these seats and surprised at how easy it is to make friends with the other fans around you.
One of these days I need to go to a Red Wings-Blackhawks game for the ultimate NHL experience.
