To give you an idea what the view of the ice is like from section 102, here is a Youtube video shot from there during the national anthem at a Blackhawks game.

These were wonderful seats that sat exactly between the faceoff circles and the blue line in the visiting team attack zone. There were only 19 rows (we sat in row 18). I loved being able to jet to the concessions during a stoppage of play and was back in my seat before play had resumed. (Don't get up out of your seat unless the puck has stopped moving, hockey is a fluid game so fans need constant attention!)

102 was somewhat behind both benches. I have sat on the opposite side of the ice for Blackhawk games and it's always better when you can look into the benches instead off sitting behind them especially when player substitutions are being made.

You can often find free parking outside of the United Center if you are willing to walk a little bit out of the way which isn't always the safest thing to do at night but bad things could happen in a well lit parking lot too.
