I have only sat on the 300s and then section 226 for Sabres games but I am very confident that section 226 has one of the best views of the ice in the building.

The section sits right above the goalie, so you're able to look straight down and see an unobstructed view of the plays at the next. You also have no trouble seeing the opposite side of the ice and for some reason, I think these seats would even be better than center ice seats on the club level.

Beware the ticket prices for any seats you see on the 200s. They're insanely pricey and as overpriced as the $9 beers but the enjoyment you get out of the experience is well worth it. Wish I could afford to attend Sabres games more often.
