To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 226, here is a Youtube video shot from row 1 during a Redskins/Dallas Cowboys game at Fedex Field.

The seats are free from obstruction - no pillars in the way - the pillars are just to the left of you and for sure block people in 227 and other but not these seats. The overhang is very low and would definitly block kick-offs and high passes. But we were there for a soccer game and it worked ok.
I would say that you feel like you are in a tunnel and looking at a large TV screen but in wide screen version not regular... imaging taking you big screen TV and covering the top few inches and the bottom few inches and that is what it is like.
I would say these are ok if you and your pals want to just be at the game and swill some beer but it lacks atmosphere and certainly if you are bringing pals or your kids and want to impress them then these are no thte seats for you.

I would recommend laying off a few Starbucks runs and bring your lunch to work for a month and spring for the better seats.Unless you are just there to tailgate and be in.
