I'm not too picky about where I sit for any game, Steelers, Penguins, Buccs. I just enjoy being there and being amongst the thousands of other fans rooting for the exact same team.
Section 507 was nothing to write home about but offered good value - I got to see the Steelers play the Ravens without completely breaking the bank. (We sat about 12 rows up). I could see about 90% of the field. My favorite aspect was being able to look out at the water and Mt. Washington rather than watching the cheesy games/videos in between quarters on the jumbo tron.
Back to the seats, the first five rows are the best since they sit by themselves down in front. Any row with two letters should be avoided but those would be ideal if it's snowing outside because they will sit underneath the overhang that provides protection. The leg room was lacking but what upper level in any stadium is spacious? None. They like to pack fans in like sardines, more money for ownership.
Getting to our seats was really easy which was a plus. Some stadiums and arenas are tough to navigate. We entered the stadium on the open end through Gate A and just took the East escalators to the top. When you walk through Gate A, just look to your right and you'll see the ramp/escalator area.
Although Heinz Field still looks and feel new, it has already hosted two Super Bowl Championship teams and was the site of a Batman movie. All Steelers fans should feel honored to call this place their home stadium.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 507, here is a Youtube video shot from row H during a Steelers game at Heinz Field.
