Our seats were part of the Black Hole so keep your guard up if you sit here, Raiders fan or not. Definitely not the section you want to bring your children to. For kids, seats on the plaza level would be the most ideal. More space, better view, less drinking. There is a small children's play area on the plaza level outside of section 234.
A good amount of the seats in 105 will sit right on the numbers of the field but you can only see the south side of the field. The view of the north endzone was practically nonexistent and it's very hard to judge the depth of the field, especially on running plays. When the receiver caught a touchdown in the North end zone (Heyward-Bey?) we had to rely on the crowd reaction to know if he caught it. Seats are a little crowded together but what do you expect from an older stadium like the Coliseum? At least every seat had a drink holder. (Beers are $9). Outside of this section, you'll find one of the small team store locations. It's nothing too elaborate and the items are often much more expensive than what you'll find shopping for Raiders stuff online.
Even though the Raiders may not always put the best product on the field, they're always at least fun to watch. And Raiders fans know how to have fun at games too, from the time they get to the tailgate lot until the final snap.
