Family used to have Raiders season tickets once upon a time. Now, I come to games when I can but definitely go to more A's games than Raiders games at the Coliseum. We had 234, row 10 for the Raiders/Saints game late last year. The Saints won pretty handily but we still had a great time at the game. One thing you should know about 234 is that it's on the East side of the stadium and it receives a good bit of sun for the 1pm games. In September, especially keep this in mind as it still gets very hot in September. 234 was a rather small section with a decent view but also a good ways away from the action. Great spot to sit for the fans that like to see how all of the plays develop.
Just outside of this section is a play area for small children. Gates open 2 hours before kickoff, so if this is a priority, enter the stadium early to give your kids time to run around a bit.
