Section 308 has easily one of the best views available to fans on the upper level.
We were only a few feet to the right of the 50 yard line seats and the view will almost be the same in 308.
I sat in row 22, seat 7 for the 49ers last season which turned into one of the worst losses the Patriots have suffered at Gillette Stadium in it's 10 or 11 years standing.
So I'm glad I wasn't sitting too close to see it all unfold.
Row 22 was one of the final rows available in 308 so many fans won't like the pitch of sitting up that high. You literally stare right down at the field but it was easy to follow the game with the two scoreboards in each end zone to aid fans. How much you enjoy a game is directly correlated with how good your seats are so make sure you'll enjoy where you'll be sitting. Do some research before buying your seats! That's the downside with buying your seats from ticket scalpers on the street, you can't choose where to sit. Stubhub is your best friend!

Keep in mind that there are no escalators that service the upper levels of Gillette Stadium which makes it inferior to many of the other NFL stadiums around the country. Fans instead are required to walk ramps to their seats in the upper level. If you're sitting in section 308, you'll want to enter through the Patriot Place entrance on the North end of the stadium. Just inside the entrance gate will be a ramp that services the East side of the stadium where section 308 is.
Upon entering your section, an usher or stadium staff member will likely greet you and show you to your seats. If you have any troubles or get lost, which you shouldn't, just ask a stadium worker how to get where you're going.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 308, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Patriots/Baltimore Ravens game at Gillette Stadium.
