Have been coming to Dolphins games since I was a kid with my dad and brothers. For a stadium as old as it is, it has aged very well. I was in 440 for the Ravens game a few weeks ago, row 14 to be exact. Really enjoyed the game, didn't feel like we missed out on any of the plays, of course, the two scoreboards in each endzone really come in handy. Each upper level section has 30 rows, give or take a few so as long as you stay out of any seat near row 20, you will probably enjoy the view you get.
FYI, for the fans that don't plan on tailgating, there is a pre-game tailgate called "Kickoff 45" which has all you can eat food and live music and it's outside of the stadium near Gate C. It's a neat setup for the fans that may not have a big group to tailgate with. The Dolphins seemingly almost always play in the 1pm time slot so during September, you may want to bring your Sunglasses and sunblock with you to the game. Still very humid at that time of year in Miami.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 440, here is a Youtube video shot from there before a Dolphins game at Sun Life Stadium.
