I've seen at least 10 Colts home games since this place opened so I'm a pretty seasoned occupant of Lucas Oil Stadium. 227 was our section for the St. Louis Rams game this season and it should be avoided. As it turned out, this whole game should have been avoided because the Colts just collapsed that day in the worst loss I've ever seen them take at home. Seats were comfy but our seats didn't offer a very good view of the field at all due to the field goal obstructing a good chunk of our view. In most NFL stadiums, the 2nd tier of seats will sit higher than the posts so the posts don't intrude, but not the case at Lucas Oil. The 200s all sit field level which makes fans feel close to the game but it hinders your view from sections like 227. However, kickoff returns were pretty cool to watch from these seats.
I think the stadium is beautiful inside and a offers a unique environment for Colts fans. The race cars on display are awesome. There is also a lot to do in the downtown area near the stadium including the Canal Walk, the Circle City Mall or maybe taking in a Pacers or Indians Baseball Game. I highly recommend St. Elmo Steakhouse to the fans looking for an upscale dining experience after the game.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 227, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Colts/Miami Dolphins game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
