146 gave us a good look at the south end zone. Most of the touchdowns the day we went were scored there, so we really lucked out with our location. The seats in the rows past row 30 may actually offer the best view of the entire field to be honest. Some fans like sitting down next to the field for ultimate closeness but we were in row 27 and had no complaints at all.
All of the chairs were colored green which doesn't go with the color scheme of the Bengals at all. I think this place would look great with orange and black colored seats. Look at how well the yellow seats go with the Steelers stadium.
The fan atmosphere for the Bengals is hit or miss, the fans are often skeptics and I can't say I blame them. They're loud when the team is doing well and aren't afraid to boo the team when they give the game away. Win or lose, they're still going to booze though. The Bengals have great tailgating and a few of the lots are actually underneath the overpass which is great for hot sunny games in September and perfect for rainy/snowy days later in the year.

If you're not into tailgating and would rather eat or drink at a pub, it doesn't get much better than Head First Sports Cafe across the street from the stadium. Good luck finding a spot to stand if you don't get there hours before the game.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 146, here is a Youtube video shot from row 22 during a Bengals/Baltimore Ravens game at Paul Brown Stadium.
