To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 102, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Wizards/Detroit Pistons game at the Verizon Center.

Last game I attended was between the Wizards and the Memphis Grizzlies (yawn)and I sat in section 111, row Q, seat 3. Row Q is one of the worst seats in 102 because it's one of the last rows but still felt really close to the action, hard to explain. The seats are really tight, especially if you have a rather large Wizards fan on either side of your seats.
The beer prices are despicable. It's best to go to one of the bars or restaurants surrounding the arena to drink before the game if you want to get a nice buzz going. (Nothing funner than watching a Capitals game with a buzz).

If you take the metro to the arena and get off at the gallery place stop, you won't have to worry about how much beers you've consumed.
