Sections 6, 8 and 10 are all equally good. The sideline views are the best for basketball. Avoid the corners at all costs in both the lower and upper levels.

Section 6 is an amazing section that sits immediately behind the Spurs bench so you automatically know that you can't go wrong there. Expensive though, you're looking at $200+ even if it's the Bobcats or Raptors in town that night. The seats have a nice comfortable padding to them, it's almost like being at the movie theater. Plenty of room for your legs and elbows too. I wouldn't call the patrons in this section true fans. A lot of them are upper middle class people that casually watch the NBA. Sadly, that is what professional sports has come to this day and age, especially with the secondary market so mobile online.

If you're looking for a great spot to dine at before thee game in the downtown area, check out Saltgrass Steakhouse which is down on the river walk. If you're staying in downtown San Antonio, you may want to take a cab to the game, it's on the outskirts of the downtown area. Don't forget to visit the Alamo. (It's Free).
