To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 124, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Spurs/Minnesota Timberwolves game at the AT&T Center.
My wife and I sat in row 20 for a Spurs-Golden State Warriors games a few season back. It was the very first row in the section to our surprise. Great seats with practically no other fans seated to the row, maybe five or six seats total. I liked it. There is a cement separator that separates the plaza seats from the charter seats so there will be very little fan movement in front of you if you get row 20. There are stairs to climb but they're no where near as steep as the seats on the balcony level.
With tickets in 124, you won't be able to get down next to the court but if you only need a great view of the court to enjoy the game, you won't be able to do much better than 124. I highly recommend it!
