Went to see my Knicks play the Raptors. Our seats in section 120 were nestled in the far corner of the lower arena. The seats were angled towards center court, so no complaints. Just sit high enough so that you get a nice view of the entire court because 6 made it hard to see the other end of the court. (Aim for rows 15-20).

Regardless of what people in New York may think, Madison Square Garden can be topped in terms of amenities, seats, product on the court and value at the concession stand. The Barclays Center in Brooklyn is super nice as is the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. But what you get at Madison Square Garden is history and there are no other arenas that can compete with it in that respect.

120 is the corner of MSG. Lower level. You won't regret sitting here mainly because the view is very solid, you aren't separated from the rest of the court because there are no tunnels in the corner of MSG like there are in most sports venues.
Great place for a game no matter the event.
