Went to the Grizzlies - Clippers game 3 last season and this is by far the best seats I've had at a Grizzlies game. The Fedex Forum itself is probably in the middle of the pack in regard to the NBA arenas that I've visited. The arena the New Orleans Hornets play in maybe the worst.
Section 106 was directly behind where the Clippers were sitting. Took some great photos of Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Matt Barnes throughout the game. All came out great. We were in row P if I remember correctly. It was towards the back but we could see both ends of the court equally well. Would definitely sit here again. One thing I didn't like was how they have small fences/rails behind the benches. (As if fans are going to try to sneak into the bench area and bother the players). It gave off a very "closed in" vibe.

We stayed at the Westin Beale Street which wasn't far from the Forum. Easily the nicest hotel in the area. There is also a Casino fans can stay at down there. We got to sample Aldo's and Miss Polly's before and after the game. Those places do a crazy amount of business on game nights so make sure you get downtown in plenty of time for the 7pm start time. The arena is on Beale Street near the corner of 3rd. Great downtown location!

If you're easily annoyed by fans of the visiting team, don't sit in section 106. Due to it's proximity behind the visitors sideline, every fan of the visiting team tries to sit there and cheer them on. When the Lakers, Bulls or Heat come to town, all of a sudden these fans suddenly appear out of the wood work and in masses. It's annoying.

Other than that, they're awesome seats. Row V is the very last row in this section. One thing that I have noticed at Fedex Forum is that the end zone seats are very steep but the sideline seats just sit further back and gives fans a good line of sight. I don't think you will be able to find more comfortable seats for non club seats anywhere in the NBA. The layout is excellent and finding your seats is very easy.

My only complaint is that the arena staff are usually nazis. I was asked multiple times for my ticket on my way back from the concessions. Some of those ushers take their minimum wage jobs way too seriously.
