Section 102 is a section where it's impossible to purchase the 'wrong seat'. The rows were numbered 1-20 with the first two rows being lettered A and B. I had row 2, the fourth row. We saw the Lakers take on the Denver Nuggets and were behind the Nuggets bench. The Nuggets seem to always bring it versus the Lakers.

I would imagine these seats get annoying when the Heat, Bulls or Celtics are in town because their fans are bound to buy up the tickets in this section (behind the visitors bench).
Getting to the arena is extremely easy, there are four major highways nearby when you exit the parking garages. I always try to ride the Light Rail to Pico Station or 7th Street Station. That way, it's cheap round trip and you only have a few blocks to walk. Plus, you can drink all you please at LA Live before the game and not have to worry about driving home.

If you're hungry, they have a Panda Express inside the arena that always hits the spot.

To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 102, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Lakers/Memphis Grizzlies game at the Staples Center.
