Came to the Barclays Center for the Boston Celtics game on January 7th. This place is a mausoleum when it comes to the fans and their excitement level. At least when I compare it to the other NBA arenas I've seen games in before.
We sat in row 7, the middle of the row. If you don't mind not sitting down next to the court, then this section is almost as good as it gets. The view really is terrific and there will be less fans in your way since the section is so small. No matter where the ball was, it never felt too far and the game was easy to follow. The benches and scorer's table were across the floor so we could always see who was checking in. We took plenty of great action shots as keepsakes. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to sit courtside like Jay Z sometime in the future.
The arena itself is no different than the Prudential Center in Newark, the Nets' old home.
