To give you an idea what the view of the court is like from section 222, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Nets/Orlando Magic game at the Barclays Center.

Brooklyn finally got it's arena it has always wanted! New York City in general needed another big time arena aside from Madison Square Garden.
Section 222 is a decent section to have for a few hours of Nets basketball. It's very dark in the seating area, kind of like it is at the Staples Center in LA for Lakers games. The actual location is to the side of the court and just past the out of bounds area. Avoid rows 1 and 2 since those could kind of be obstructed by the protective plexi-glass. Keep in mind that the crowd sucks! It's like they don't know how to be basketball fans and loud and rowdy. That could be because so much of New York were Knicks fans for such a long time and so much of New Jersey were Nets fans and now can't make it to games as often. I don't know but you'll be just fine wearing visiting team colors in this arena because no one seems to really even care about the home team.
Seats are comfortable aside from the lack of room for your ankles. You really can't expect a ton of leg room in the cheap seats no matter where you see a game.
I've seen Nets games at the Prudential Center in Newark and that place is brand spanking new, still. But I like the Barclays Center much better. Much more to do around the arena. They're redeveloping the Atlantic Avenue area a whole lot.
Don't forget to check out the old flagpole from Ebbets Field (former home of the Brooklyn Dodgers) outside of the arena at the corner of Atlantic and Flatbush.
