Only advice for section 213 would be to avoid the first two rows due to the obstruction of the railing. You'd have to see it to understand. Row M was the last row (we were in row L), and had no trouble following the game. The upper deck sections are all too large to enjoy so middle corner sections like 213 offer the perfect sight lines for Hawks fans. All of the 100s are great too but the tickets are way overpriced for the team playing on the court. Ever notice how the attendance seems sparse when you watch the Hawks on tv?

Philips Arena is downtown but not in the most central part of downtown like all of the hotels on Peachtree street are. There was a Taco Mac, Mccormick and Schmick's and Atlanta Fish Market near the arena and the CNN Center is next door so there is a ton to do in the area. Just park downtown and take the Marta to the arena, it's quick and easy.

I've sat here twice because our family has season tickets here. You will be tempted to sit on the lower levels even though these are considered prime seats. These are not club seats and I find it odd that all of the club seats were on one entire side of the arena. That side is practically inaccessible which kind of creates a have and have not's. It looks neat but I don't really like the idea but its what makes Philips Arena unique.
I would imagine section 213 would offer better sight lines for hockey instead of basketball but Atlanta no longer has a hockey team.
