Seat view from section 108 at Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays

Our seats stared right down the third base line and the "hot corner". We were kind of nudged in between the Rays batter's box and home plate. Watching a game behind home plate is weird at first being that I'm a bleacher bum because of the protective netting. But after an inning or so, you get used to it. It's there for our safety.

People like to bash this place and call it one of the worst ballparks in the MLB but a retractable roof would change people's minds. They built this place with the same idea in mind that the Marlins have minus all of the Don Johnson home run features and colors ; keep fans out of the unpredictable Florida weather. You never have to worry about the weather at Tropicana Field, now the Rays only need a home that is actually in downtown Tampa and not 45 minutes away. Of course, Tampa residents should be a little more dedicated and make the short drive on a nightly basis.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 108, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Rays game at Tropicana Field.
