I have sat all over the Coliseum for both Raiders and Athletics games. There are plenty of bad seats but 248 isn't one of them.
It was a very small section with only 7 rows that overlooks the field. If you're in the first row, those seats are perhaps the best seats in the ballpark because there is nothing in front of you and you can see all of the plays at the warning track that you won't catch in later rows.

Love that the ballpark has two jumbotrons in the upper corners so that you can see the lineups and replays from every seat.
