I first wanted to comment on how fan friendly Angel Stadium of Anaheim is. Even though we donned our A's gear, we received nothing but warm welcomes from the stadium staff and the Angels fans in our section.
I would call section 124 pretty affluent. It was full of older baseball fans, didn't see a whole lot of excessive drinking, everyone was with their spouse and young children. This definitely isn't the section to sit in if you want the rowdy baseball experience. Dodger Stadium is full of that nonsense. We sat here because it was behind the A's dugout. Expensive tickets, especially compared to what we pay for similar seats at O.co Coliseum but I would recommend section 124 to anyone, casual fan or fanatic. All of the seats look the same, a plain green.
Sitting near the bottom will require you to climb some steps to reach the corridor area.
Outside of our section was a stand called 'Sweet Spot' and it had the cute little helmet sundaes. Further down was a stand that served specialty nachos but the line was too long for us to full with it. The variety of food is average at this stadium but who could want more than the basic hot dogs, beer, cracker jacks, etc?

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 124, here is a Youtube video shot from there during an Angels game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
