Good field box seats but there was also nothing special about them. We had row 8 seats 3-5. Paid $70 for three tickets which is a decent bargain for close seats at a Major League Baseball game - just so you know. Liked that our row wasn't full of fans. The closer your row is to row 1, the less fans there will be per row. I hate getting stuck in the middle of a row at a game and having a million people to walk thru just to get to the restroom. The third base side is equally as good as the first base side, in my own opinion. Although if the roof is open, the third base side doesn't receive nearly as much shade.
Outside of our section was a stand called 'All Aboard' and they have a few basic ballpark food items like hot dogs and bratwursts. If you want a good meal, I wouldn't eat the food in the park. I would eat at either the FiveSeven Grille or at B.U.S. Bar across the street.
Minute Maid Park itself it pretty cool. I've only been to two Astros games and it has a very comfortable seating and climate. Right now you can find great seats all over the ballpark without spending a lot of money and that's what it's all about. Sadly enough, seats were expensive back in the days of Bagwell, Biggio, Oswalt and Berkman. Living proof that this franchise has some of the biggest bandwagon fans in sports.

To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 109, here is a Youtube video shot from there before an Astros game at Minute Maid Park.
