To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 157, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a White Sox/Minnesota Twins game at U.S. Cellular Field.

First of all, navigation around the ballpark is very easy since there are only three areas; lower, club and upper. You can only access the level in which your ticket is for and the ushers are very thorough in checking your ticket to make sure you're in the right place.
157 was good although it was nestled in the far left corner of the bottom level. The foul pole will be in your peripheral but it doesn't act as an obstruction.
It's not a bleacher section; those make up sections 160-164.

If you have kids, they will love the area that just sits behind this section called FundaMentals, it's pretty much a batting cage area and a place of instruction. It's of decent size too.
They will also like the Frank Thomas statue outside of your seats in 157 as well.
This place doesn't get a ton of love from baseball purists but it has been making progress over the years following renovations.
