To give you an idea what the view of the field is like from section 311, here is a Youtube video shot from there during a Diamondbacks/Chicago Cubs game at Chase Field. Not the most ideal video, but it will give you a good idea what the seats are like and how much space you'll have between each row.

My seats when I sat here were in row 15. A little up but these are the cheap seats. You're on the 1st baseline, upper level. You can see the entire field, not the ideal seats when the roof is open and the sun is shining thru.
Pretty nice view of the jumbotron in center field.
