The Anaheim Ducks, Anaheim Arena Management, and American Honda Motor Co. have extended the naming rights agreement for the Honda Center through the 2031 NHL season. The previous naming rights agreement was a fifteen year agreement that commenced in October 2006. The naming rights agreement provides Honda with signage on the exterior of the arena, integration in all forms of media, freeway marquee placement, and Honda car displays outside of the arena.

The Anaheim Ducks will also continue to provide one lucky fan with a Honda vehicle during the annual Anaheim Ducks Fan Appreciation Night sweepstakes. Honda also sponsors the Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic and Dux in Tux which have helped the Anaheim Ducks Foundation raise more than $4 million. The terms for the naming rights extension were not made known to the public. The Honda Center is owned by the city of Anaheim, and was known as the Arrowhead Pond from 1993 to 2006. The city of Anaheim will not receive revenue from the naming rights agreement. Instead, the money will be spent towards improving and maintaining the arena.
