The Chicago Bulls will host their third NBA All-Star Game when they host the event on February 16th, 2020 at the United Center. The game will be the 69th NBA All-Star Game and will be the first held at the United Center which originally opened in 1994. The Bulls haven’t hosted an NBA All-Star Game since 1988 and before that, 1973.

This year’s NBA All-Star Game was held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The 2018 NBA All-Star Game will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles while the 2019 NBA All-Star Game will be held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte. Other events that will be held over All-Star weekend include the Rising Stars Challenge, G League All-Star Game, Taco Bell Skills Challenge, JBL Three-Point Contest and Verizon Slam Dunk contest.

Wintrust Arena, brand new home of the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, and the Navy Pier will also host All-Star weekend festivities. Chicago Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf has been vocal about his displeasure with hosting an NBA All-Star Game because season ticket holders are displaced into a lottery system and can’t sit in their usual seats. Season ticket holders are then typically stuck with terrible seats for the event while visiting fans are able to sit in the best seats.
