Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) will begin implementing mobile ticketing for all concerts, Washington Mystics home games, Washington Capitals home games, and Washington Wizards home games at Capital One Arena in 2020. Mobile ticketing is expected to make ticket management and entry into Capital One Arena more feasible for spectators. MSE will utilize the Ticketmaster Presence software which will replace paper tickets with digital passes. 

Ticketmaster Presence will also improve venue operations, improve fan experience, provide better analytics, and enhance security. The platform has been utilized by more than 700 venues around the United States. Guests will be provided with video tutorials and instructional videos to better understand mobile ticketing procedures at Capital One Arena. Guest services at Capital One Arena will also assist spectators with the new mobile ticketing platform upon request in 2020.

Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards fans are encouraged to create an account with Ticketmaster to access their tickets. Ticket holders will still be able to transfer or resell their tickets via Ticketmaster. Tickets purchased at the Capital One Arena box office will be paper tickets. Fans that do not have a mobile phone are encouraged to call 202-292-1988 to make arrangements to receive their tickets for an event.
